Virtual Account Numbers Can Take Your Company to New Heights of Efficiency

Simple, secure, seamless – see how Virtual Account Numbers can put your company in control.

How It Works

  1. Book Travel as Usual

Book your air, hotel and car rental through your Travel Management Company (TMC).

  2. Get a Centralised Bill

All air, hotel and car rental expenses are consolidated onto a single centrally billed account and statement.

  3. Invoice and payment process efficiency

Gain visibility into travel expenses and transaction data to streamline reconciliation.

An Enhanced BTA Experience with VAN

A VAN is a digitally generated American Express Card, with a unique 15-digit number, expiry date and CVV. The 15-digit number is linked to a specific travel purpose and transaction for increased security and control*.

Detailed information capture for each transaction enables near perfect reconciliation, time savings and fewer disputes.

Transaction Level Controls

Set specific spend parameters for each transaction to increase policy compliance and to ensure preferred supplier usage.

Customised Defined Data Fields

VANs let you customise your BTA using defined data fields and enable faster reconciliation with a single data file.

* Travel Management Company must be enabled to facilitate virtual account number payments.
