2. How do I pay my bill?

First, check with your Program Administrator whether you need to pay your bill directly; then there are several convenient ways to make a payment:

    a. In person (a statement is required if paying in person, and Australia Post requires an original statement with barcode)
    b. Online via Pay Bill Online
    c. Telephone
    d. Cheque

4. What do I do if a charge is declined?

Unfortunately there are times when a charge may be declined. We use sophisticated credit checking systems to monitor spend patterns and to identify fraudulent or unapproved spend in order protect you and your Company. Because of this, any out-of-pattern spend will be referred for manual approval. This means the transaction will not go through on the Card until American Express has been contacted and approves it. Card charges are more likely to be referred for manual approval when new Card Members start using the Card and have minimal spend history. The most frequent types of out-of-pattern expenditure are large, online or overseas transactions. If a merchant indicates that a transaction has been declined, you should request clarification. If manual approval is required, you should ask the merchant to contact the American Express Merchant Services team to request this approval.

5. How can I dispute a charge?

If you do not recognise a transaction, you should contact the supplier and dispute the charge directly. If this is either unsuccessful or not possible, you can contact our Customer Service team to dispute the charge. This must be within 3 months of the date of the charge. A temporary credit may be applied to your account while American Express contacts the merchant. This may take up to 6 to 8 weeks.

6. How do I renew my Card?

Renewal Cards are automatically mailed to you 10 to 15 days prior to your current Card’s expiration.

7. What do I do if my Card is lost or stolen?

In the event your Corporate Card is lost or stolen, you should report it immediately to our Customer Service Centre (available 24/7). We will cancel the Card and arrange for an emergency replacement if required (usually within 24 hours) anywhere in the world, at no charge. Click here for our contact details.

15. What business travel insurance do I receive?

As a Corporate Card Member, you receive Business Travel Accident Insurance, Accident Medical Insurance, Baggage and Personal Possessions Insurance and Travel Inconvenience Insurance automatically when you charge a common carrier travel ticket to your Card. You are covered for business trips from departure right through the duration of your trip (up to 30 consecutive days), until you return. If you hold a Corporate Gold Card, you also receive coverage for personal trips charged to your Card while boarding, travelling on and exiting the common carrier. Specifically, you will receive:

a. Corporate Green Card Members

  • Business travel accident insurance cover up to $150,000

  • Travel accident Card account waiver cover up to $10,000

  • Business trip completion extension up to $13,150

b. Corporate Gold Card Members

  • Business travel accident insurance cover up to $350,000

  • Accident medical insurance cover up to $50,000

  • Baggage and personal possessions extension cover up to $8,000 per covered trip

  • Travel inconvenience insurance for flight delays up to $500

  • Missed connection payment of up to $500

  • Luggage delay payment of up to $400

  • Lost and/or stolen luggage payment of up to $1,000
