    Our complimentary Business Travel Accident Insurance20 provides accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage when you charge your Common Carrier ticket to your Corporate Card.

    Eligible Card Members can receive up to $400,000 of 24-hour coverage for business and personal trips for up to 30 days while boarding, travelling on, and exiting a Common Carrier. This coverage is provided at no additional fee.

American Express Corporate Platinum Card Benefit Terms

1. Platinum Travel Service: All fees or amounts payable in relation to the services are inclusive of GST where applicable. All fees, taxes and charges levied by the travel providers and/or air travel suppliers still apply and these are subject to change without notice until such time as tickets are issued. Domestic ticketing includes New Zealand. Travel services provided by American Express International, Inc. ABN 15 000 618 208. Incorporated with Limited Liability in Delaware, USA.

2. Platinum Concierge Services: There is typically no cost to you for most efforts Concierge consultants perform on your behalf, although you are responsible for any purchases and/or shipping charges you authorise. Fees may apply for meetings and event planning. We reserve the right to note profile and preference data for servicing purposes.

3. Same Day Fine Dining Reservations: Conditions apply. Restaurant partners are subject to change without notice. All bookings must be made through Platinum Concierge. Table size is based on settings of between 2-4 persons. Account must be settled with an American Express Corporate Platinum Card. Reservations are based on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of a reservation cancellation, the Card Member will be subject to the restaurant’s cancellation policy, which will be communicated to the Card Member by Concierge at the time of booking.

4. Emergency Global Assist: You must arrange all medical and visitor transportation. As the Global Assist Hotline is an assistance service, we cannot reimburse you for expenses you incur on your own. Please refer to the Global Assist Summary of Coverage for additional details and restrictions. Only available when you travel more than 200km from your home, for up to 90 consecutive days.

5. American Express Sydney Airport Lounge: The following Terms and Conditions govern the entry to the American Express Sydney Airport Lounge at Sydney International Airport
(“American Express Sydney Airport Lounge”) in Terminal 1. Your American Express Corporate Platinum Card must be current and issued by American Express Australia Limited.
American Express Corporate Platinum Card Members are entitled to two (2) entries into the American Express Sydney Airport Lounge per calendar year (1st January to 31st December). The entries may be used by the basic Card Member, Supplementary Card Member or a guest travelling with a Card Member. Complimentary access is available for the Card Member’s children between the ages of 2-17. Card Members wishing to bring additional guests will be subject to a charge that is to be processed on the Card Member’s the American Express Card. Please refer to the reception desk at the American Express Sydney Airport Lounge for the applicable charges. At the discretion of the American Express, other American Express Card Members may also enter the American Express Sydney Airport Lounge or be issued with a One-Day Pass for entry into the American Express Sydney Airport Lounge from time to time. The American Express Sydney Airport Lounge at Sydney International Airport in Terminal 1 is operated by Plaza Premium Lounge Management. To access the American Express Sydney Airport Lounge, Card Members must present the following upon each visit: his or her Eligible American Express Corporate Platinum Card or One-Day Pass; and upon request, same-day airline ticket on any carrier. Failure to present requested documentation may result in access being denied. Card Members will not be compensated for changes in locations, rates or policies. A Card Member must be at least 18 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. The Lounge Operator reserves the right to remove any person from a lounge for inappropriate behaviour or failure to adhere to lounge rules, including, but not limited to, conduct that is disruptive, abusive or violent. Access to the American Express Sydney Airport Lounge is subject to space availability.
The American Express Sydney Airport Lounge hours may vary and are subject to change without prior notice. Amenities may vary among American Express Sydney Airport Lounge locations and are subject to change. In-lounge services and amenities are complimentary. The American Express will not be liable for any articles lost or stolen or damages suffered by the purchaser or visitor inside the American Express Sydney Airport Lounge. Use of the American Express Sydney Airport Lounge is subject to all rules and conditions set by the American Express and the Lounge Operator.

6. Complimentary trolley: Receive a complimentary trolley when you swipe your American Express Card at any of the trolley dispensers at the T1 Departures Roadway at the Sydney International Airport. Offer valid until 30 June 2016. Available to Australian issued cards only. Excludes American Express Business Travel Accounts, Government Cards, Global Travel Cards, Business Cards that are affiliated with a wholesale partner, Corporate Purchasing Cards and Corporate Meeting Cards. Not available for online trolley bookings.

7. Priority Pass™: These Terms and Conditions govern the Corporate Platinum Card Member’s participation in and use of the Priority Pass™ program. Priority Pass is an independent airport lounge access program. By enrolling in Priority Pass, you agree that you will be responsible for all accompanying guest visits and will be automatically charged USD27 per guest to your Corporate Platinum Card from American Express after you have signed for the visit and it has been reported to Priority Pass by the participating lounge. Additionally, you acknowledge and agree that American Express will verify your Card account number and provide updated Card account information to Priority Pass from time to time. Priority Pass will use this information to fulfil on the Priority Pass program and may use this information for marketing related to the program. Once enrolled, Corporate Platinum Card Members in good standing may access participating Priority Pass lounges by presenting your Priority Pass card and airline boarding pass. In some lounges, Priority Pass members must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. Priority Pass members must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Amenities may vary among airport lounge locations. Conference rooms, where available, may be reserved for a nominal fee. Priority Pass lounge partners and locations are subject to change. All Priority Pass members must adhere to the Priority Pass Conditions of Use, which will be sent to you with your membership package, and can be viewed at prioritypass.com Upon receipt of your enrolment information, Priority Pass will send your Priority Pass card and membership package, which you should receive within 10–14 business days. If you have not received the Priority Pass card after 14 days, please contact American Express using the number on the back of your American Express Card.

8. FINE HOTELS & RESORTS: Check your Corporate Travel Policy for eligibility. Valid only for new FINE HOTELS & RESORTS bookings made through Platinum Travel Service and Platinum Travel online. Payment must be made in full with an American Express Card in the Platinum Card Member’s name.
Available for Australian Platinum Card Members and excludes Platinum Credit Card Members. Card Member must travel on itinerary booked to be eligible for benefits described. Noon check–in and room upgrade are based on availability and are provided at check–in. Certain room categories are not eligible for room upgrade; call Platinum Travel Service for details. Breakfast amenity varies by property, but will be, at a minimum, a continental breakfast. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in room, with the exception of select properties where In-Room Wi-Fi is included as part of a mandatory daily resort fee or is not available. In these instances, complimentary Wi-Fi will be provided in a common space on property. Call Platinum Travel Services for property specific details regarding Wi-Fi. Special Amenities and Platinum Benefits vary by property; call your Platinum Travel Service for details. Benefit restrictions vary by FINE HOTELS & RESORTS property and cannot be redeemed for cash, and may not be combined with other offers unless indicated. Benefits and additional FINE HOTELS & RESORTS promotions are only applied at checkout and expire at checkout. Limit of one benefit package per room, per stay. Three room limit per Card Member, per stay; back–to–back stays within a 24–hour period at the same property are considered one stay. Participating FINE HOTELS & RESORTS properties and benefits are subject to change.

15. Taste from American Express Invites benefit will be open for all American Express Card Members to use and is valid until 31 May, 2016, unless otherwise noted. This benefit is only redeemable when paid for with an American Express branded card. The benefit is fulfilled by making reservation bookings directly with the restaurant in the American Express Corporate Platinum Card Member’s name and is subject to table availability. American Express Card Members can either call or walk in to the restaurant to check availability and book. Platinum Card Members have to identify themselves as an American Express Card Member at the time of booking or before ordering to receive the benefits on the dining day. The benefit is valid for seated dining only and cannot be combined with any other benefit. Each restaurant offers one of the following special offers as stated in their offer details and this is not negotiable: a complimentary appetizer from the a la carte menu (up to ten guests) or a complimentary dessert (up to ten guests) or a complimentary bottle of wine (per table) or a discount of 20% on food purchases (up to ten guests) and will be provided by the participating restaurants in accordance with the provisions set out here. The special offer is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. Complimentary dessert selection may be limited by the restaurant at its discretion and will only be valid when an item of equal or greater value is purchased. Complimentary appetizer selection may be limited by the restaurant at its discretion and will only be valid when a main course and a dessert are purchased.

The benefits are limited to one redemption per visit, per American Express Card, per bill, per table, unless otherwise stated; a restaurant may cap benefit availability to 10 guests per booking at its discretion. The benefit is available for lunch or dinner on any day of the week, unless otherwise noted. Blackout dates apply, please check with individual restaurants when booking. Should an American Express Card Member face any issues including any failure to fulfil the benefit, please contact the relevant restaurant. Alternatively, American Express Card Members may contact American Express Customer Services by calling the number on the back of their Card.

16. American Express Invites Lounge: Entry is subject to capacity and granted on a first come first serve basis. Card Members must show their American Express Card to gain entry. Corporate Platinum Card Members may invite a maximum of 5 additional guests. Food & beverages are available for purchase within the lounge.

17. Minimum of $15 must be spent in a single transaction to be eligible for a complimentary bottle of water.

18. Membership Rewards Program for Employees:

a. Membership Rewards enrolment required (an annual fee applies, but is waived for American Express Corporate Platinum Card Members). Membership of the partner program is the Card Members responsibility and is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the applicable program. A joining fee may apply.

19. Membership Rewards Shop With Points:

Only American Express Cards issued by American Express Australia Limited are eligible provided they are enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. Excludes Supplementary Card Members. A minimum of 3,000 points must be redeemed at any one time. If redeeming with Points + Pay, the 'pay' component of your purchase will be automatically billed to your American Express Card Account and will appear on the first billing statement following redemption. The Complimentary Travel Insurance cover is available when you use your eligible Corporate Card to pay for your Transportation Costs.
