TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Your Choice of Qantas Privileges:

1. Qantas Domestic Economy Return Flight: A choice of one Domestic Economy class return flight is available for Card Members, or an individual nominated by the Card Member to redeem, on the terms and conditions set out below, and in accordance with Qantas’ Conditions of Carriage (which apply to all Qantas passengers). The benefit is available to chose each 12 month period that the Card Member maintains a card relationship with American Express (each a “Membership Year”) and must be redeemed before the end of the relevant Membership Year. The flight must be booked and ticketed before the end of the Membership Year in which the Card Member became entitled to the domestic flight. Redemption of the domestic flight cannot be carried forward to any subsequent Membership Year and cannot be exchanged for cash. Reservations must be made through the American Express Platinum Travel Service by calling 1800 621 524 and selecting option 1. Qantas and American Express reserve the right to change the domestic flight offer terms and conditions or the offer of flights from time to time without notice, including but not limited to the right to charge fees or to stop offering flights. Route availability is subject to change without notice. Availability of these seats is limited and seats may not be available on all flights or at the times you may wish to fly. Seat availability may be limited to certain dates and/or flights and it may be more difficult to book seats around public holidays, school holidays or special events. Only specified routes are included within the offer. All travel is subject to the Domestic Flight Offer Conditions, Qantas Fare Conditions and Qantas Conditions of Carriage. No Qantas Frequent Flyer points will be awarded for travel on these flights. Domestic Flight Routes available set out in Table 1.

Booking Changes and Cancellations:
a. Changes and cancellations are permitted prior to each flight departure, The Card Member is to pay any extra fare difference and any extra taxes by calling 1800 621 524 and selecting option 1
b. Name changes are permitted
c. The new booking must be for travel within 12 months of the date that the original ticket was issued;
d. Changes must be made through the American Express Platinum Travel Service by calling 1800 621 524 and selecting option 1
e. At the time of making the change, the Card Member must pay: Applicable change fees as per the Qantas Fare Conditions; Any fare difference between the fare for the new booking and the original fare; Any other applicable surcharges, fees and taxes plus applicable GST as charged by American Express.
f. Validity: Minimum stay is not applicable. Maximum stay is up to one year;
g. Children/Infants: Flights may not be redeemed for unaccompanied minors. Infants (under 2 years) without a seat may travel free of charge when travelling with an eligible Card Member.
h. The Domestic Flight is only available on Qantas marketed and operated services. For the avoidance of doubt, flights on Jetstar Airways Pty Limited and codeshare services are not included.

2. Qantas Club Membership: A choice of one Qantas Club membership is available for Qantas Corporate Platinum Card® Members, or an individual nominated by the Card Member in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below each Membership Year and must be redeemed before the end of the Membership Year in which the Card Member became entitled. Qantas Club membership is subject to the Qantas Club Membership Terms and Conditions, available at www.qantas.com/qantasclubterms. Subject to Qantas Club, partner airlines and associated lounges conditions of entry. See www.qantas.com/loungeaccess for details.

3. Fine Hotels & Resorts: Valid only for new FINE HOTELS & RESORTS bookings made through Platinum Travel Service, Business Platinum Travel Service, Centurion Travel Service, or any American Express Travel offices. Payment must be made in full with an American Express Card in the Australian Platinum Card Member's or Australian Centurion® Member’s name. Available for Australian Platinum Charge Card Members and Australian Centurion® Members only, and excludes Platinum Credit Card Members such who are not also Australian Platinum Charge Card Members. Card Member must travel on itinerary booked to be eligible for benefits described. Noon check-in and room upgrade are based on availability and are provided at check-in. Certain room categories are not eligible for room upgrade; call Platinum Travel Service or Centurion Travel Service for details. Breakfast amenity varies by property, but will be, at a minimum, a continental breakfast. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in room, with the exception of select properties where In-Room Wi-Fi is included as part of a mandatory daily resort fee or is not available. In these instances complimentary Wi-Fi will be provided in a common space on property. Call Platinum Travel Service for property specific details regarding Wi-Fi. Benefit restrictions vary by FINE HOTELS & RESORTS property and cannot be redeemed for cash, and may not be combined with other offers unless indicated. Benefits and additional FINE HOTELS & RESORTS promotions are only applied at checkout and expire at checkout. Limit one benefit package per room, per stay. Three room limit per Card Member, per stay; back-to-back stays within a 24-hour period at the same property considered one stay. Participating FINE HOTELS & RESORTS properties and benefits are subject to change.

7. Emergency Global Assist: You must arrange all medical and visitor transportation. As the Global Assist Hotline is an assistance service, we cannot reimburse you for expenses you incur on your own. Please refer to the Global Assist Summary of Coverage for additional details and restrictions. Only available when you travel more than 200km from your home, for up to 90 consecutive days.

8. American Express Lounge: The following Terms and Conditions govern the entry to the American Express Lounge at Sydney International Airport (“American Express Lounge”) in Terminal 1. Your American Express Qantas Corporate Platinum Card must be current and issued by American Express Australia Limited.
American Express Qantas Corporate Platinum Card Members are entitled to two (2) entries into the American Express Lounge per calendar year (1st January to 31st December). The entries may be used by the basic Card Member, Supplementary Card Member or a guest travelling with a Card Member. Complimentary access is available for the Card Member’s children between the ages of 2-17. Card Members wishing to bring additional guests will be subject to a charge that is to be processed on the Card Member’s the American Express Card. Please refer to the reception desk at the American Express Lounge for the applicable charges. At the discretion of the American Express, other American Express Card Members may also enter the American Express Lounge or be issued with a One-Day Pass for entry into the American Express Lounge from time to time. The American Express Lounge at Sydney International Airport in Terminal 1 is operated by Plaza Premium Lounge Management. To access the American Express Lounge, Card Members must present the following upon each visit: his or her Eligible American Express Qantas Corporate Platinum Card or One-Day Pass; and upon request, same-day airline ticket on any carrier. Failure to present requested documentation may result in access being denied. Card Members will not be compensated for changes in locations, rates or policies. A Card Member must be at least 18 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. The Lounge Operator reserves the right to remove any person from a lounge for inappropriate behaviour or failure to adhere to lounge rules, including, but not limited to, conduct that is disruptive, abusive or violent. Access to the American Express Lounge is subject to space availability. The American Express Lounge hours may vary and are subject to change without prior notice. Amenities may vary among American Express Lounge locations and are subject to change. In-lounge services and amenities are complimentary. American Express will not be liable for any articles lost or stolen or damages suffered by the purchaser or visitor inside the American Express Lounge. Use of the American Express Lounge is subject to all rules and conditions set by the American Express and the Lounge Operator.

9. Complimentary trolley: Receive a complimentary trolley when you swipe your American Express Card at any of the trolley dispensers at the T1 Departures Roadway at the Sydney International Airport. Offer valid until 30 June 2016. Available to Australian issued cards only. Excludes American Express Business Travel Accounts, Government Cards, Global Travel Cards, Business Cards that are affiliated with a wholesale partner, Corporate Purchasing Cards and Corporate Meeting Cards. Not available for online trolley bookings.

10. Commission Free Foreign Currency and Travellers Cheques: An American Express Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) will be provided where American Express Travellers Cheques are sold. You should read the PDS to consider the appropriateness of Travellers Cheques in relation to your individual requirements. American Express Travellers Cheques are issued under American Express International, Inc (ABN 15 000 618 208, AFSL No. 237996). Incorporated with limited liability in Delaware, USA. Hand delivered service fee applies in certain locations.

11. Platinum Concierge: There is typically no cost for Platinum Concierge consultation, although you are responsible for any purchase and/or shipping charges you authorise. Fees may apply for meetings and event planning.

12. Same Day Fine Dining Reservations: Conditions apply. Restaurant partners are subject to change without notice. All bookings must be made through Platinum Concierge. Table size is based on settings of between 2-4 persons. Account must be settled with an American Express Qantas Corporate Platinum Card.

13. Taste from American Express Invites: Benefit will be open for all American Express Card Members to use and is valid until 31 May, 2016, unless otherwise noted, subject to the terms and conditions below. This benefit is only redeemable when paid for with an American Express branded Card.
The benefit is fulfilled by making reservation bookings directly with the restaurant in the American Express Card Member’s name and is subject to table availability. American Express Card Members can either call or walk in to the restaurant to check availability and book. Card Members have to identify themselves as an American Express Card Member at the time of booking or before ordering to receive the benefits on the dining day.
The benefit is valid for seated dining only and cannot be combined with any other benefit.

Each restaurant offers one of the following special offers as stated in their offer details and this is not negotiable: a complimentary appetizer from the a la carte menu (up to ten guests) or a complimentary dessert (up to ten guests) or a complimentary bottle of wine (per table) or a discount of 20% on food purchases (up to ten guests) and will be provided by the participating restaurants in accordance with the provisions set out here. The special offer is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Complimentary dessert selection may be limited by the restaurant at its discretion and will only be valid when an item of equal or greater value is purchased. Complimentary appetizer selection may be limited by the restaurant at its discretion and will only be valid when a main course and a dessert are purchased.

The complimentary bottle of wine is selected by the restaurant and cannot be taken away or consumed off premises. The complimentary bottle of wine will only be valid when a main course is purchased.

Exclusions may apply. The benefits are limited to one redemption per visit, per American Express Card, per bill, per table, unless otherwise stated; a restaurant may cap benefit availability to 10 guests per booking at its discretion.

Should an American Express Card Member face any issues including any failure to fulfil the benefit, please contact the relevant restaurant. Alternatively, American Express Card Members may contact American Express Customer Services by calling the number on the back of their Card.

14. American Express Invites Lounge: Entry is subject to capacity and granted on a first come first serve basis. Card Members must show their American Express Card to gain entry. Card Members may invite a maximum of 3 additional guests (excluding Platinum Charge and Centurion Card Members who can invite a maximum of 5 additional guests). Food & beverages are available for purchase within the lounge.

15. Minimum of $15 must be spent in a single transaction to be eligible for a complimentary bottle of water.

16. Membership Rewards Spirit Program for Employees:
a. Membership Rewards enrolment required (an annual fee applies, but is waived for American Express Qantas Corporate Platinum Card Members). Subject to the terms and conditions of the Membership Rewards program available at membershiprewards.com.au/termsandconditions. Your Company must allow participation in Membership Rewards to be eligible to enrol. You must enrol yourself and cannot delegate someone else in your Company to do so on your behalf.
b. Refer to americanexpress.com.au/corporatespiritmr for current Membership Rewards earn rates.
c. American Express Qantas Corporate Platinum Card: You will earn an accelerated earn rate of 1.5 Membership Rewards Spirit points for every one dollar charged (up to 225,000 points and 1 Membership Rewards Spirit point thereafter) except at merchants classified as "utilities" including gas, water and electricity providers; “telecommunications”; "government" including the Australian Taxation Office, the Australian Postal Corporation, Federal/State and Local Government bodies; and "insurance" excluding insurances offered by American Express, where the earn rate is 0.5 points per $1 spent. Exceptions may apply if an individual merchant does not accept American Express as a form of payment.
d. There may be tax implications associated with your participation in the Membership Rewards program. You are advised to check with you accountant or tax adviser for further information.
e. Qantas Frequent Flyer members: You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and the earning and redemption of Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions available at qantas.com/terms.
f. The earn rate of 2 Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on Qantas products and services includes the following Qantas Products and Services purchased on the Qantas merchant account (i.e. directly from Qantas): Qantas passenger flights (with a QF flight number), Qantas Holidays, Qantas Branded non-airfare products, and Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club Membership joining and annual fees.

17. A minimum redemption amount applies. You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and the earning and redemption of Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions.

18. Membership Rewards Shop with Points: Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the American Express Membership Rewards program available at membershiprewards.com.au/termsandconditions and the David Jones Terms and Conditions available at DAVIDJONES.COM.AU. Only American Express Cards issued by American Express Australia Limited are eligible provided they are enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. Excludes Supplementary Card Members. A minimum of 3,000 points must be redeemed at any one time. If redeeming with Points + Pay, the 'pay' component of your purchase will be automatically billed to your American Express Card Account and will appear on the first billing statement following redemption. You’ll earn Membership Rewards points on the ‘pay’ component of your purchase only.

20. Online Account Access: Corporate Card accounts are eligible to enrol for online services. Centrally Billed Accounts, where charges on all Card accounts are billed to the Company instead of the individual Card Members, may be excluded. 21. Insurance: Subject to terms, conditions, exclusions, maximum age limits, pre-existing medical conditions and limits. The Complimentary Travel Insurance cover is available when you use your eligible Qantas Corporate Card to pay for your Transportation Costs.
