The American Express Qantas Corporate Card program offers the choice of two exclusive Company-level Rewards. Companies can choose between Double Qantas Points‡ or a 2%-5% Qantas Rebate up to $50,000 p.a.‡. Both reward options can turn everyday business travel expenses into savings for the Company‡.
Card Members can enroll in the Membership Rewards Spirit program‡ and can earn points for spend on every day purchases paid with their Corporate Gold Card. When you are ready to redeem your points, Membership Rewards has options to please everyone. As a member of the American Express Qantas Corporate Card program, you can access discounted member rates for Qantas Meeting Rooms‡ when you pay using your American Express Qantas Gold Corporate Card.
Corporate Cash service‡ allows employees to use the Card to access cash from ATMs worldwide. Cash withdrawal is billed to individual Corporate Card Accounts and appears as a charge on the next statement following the withdrawal. A transaction fee applies to each withdrawal. Enrolment required.

When you need to cash a personal cheque in a hurry, your Corporate Gold Card acts as a valuable form of security. Your Card allows you to cash a personal cheque for up to $1,000 every seven days in Australia and every 21 days overseas at American Express Travel Offices worldwide.
For legal and medical emergencies while travelling, Card Members can call the Emergency Global Assist‡ hotline 24/7 to help with an English-speaking lawyer, doctor or service provider who can help with cash wires, lost luggage or passports. The service is available virtually anywhere in the world, whenever Card Members travel more than 200km from home, for up to 90 days.

American Express offers Combined and Corporate liability options. Combined liability ensures your Company is only liable for business charges, while personal charges are the responsibility of the employee. With Corporate liability the Company is liable for all charges incurred. However, the Company and Card Members are not liable for any unauthorised use of the Card.
Your Company can request that spending limits be set for individual Card Members for total expenditure each month or by individual transaction. Spending limits provide a high degree of reassurance and comfort.
American Express offers a variety of billing and payments options to coordinate with your Company’s payroll periods or reimbursement schedules. You can choose to track and manage payments with individual or central billing and statements‡.

Vicinity by American Express puts you in the know wherever your business takes you. Vicinity helps you locate accommodation, dining options and ATMs across Australia, the US and the UK that warmly welcome your Corporate Card.
When you use your Corporate Gold Card to purchase Common Carrier travel tickets, at no additional cost, you’ll receive Accident Medical Insurance‡ that provides reimbursement of medical expenses incurred as a result of injury sustained while travelling on business.
When scheduled Common Carrier travel tickets are charged to the Corporate Gold Card, you’ll receive complimentary Business Travel Accident Insurance‡ of up to $350,000, providing coverage for death and dismemberment for business trips from departure through your trip (up to 30 days) until you return.
When certain scheduled carrier travel tickets are charged to your Corporate Gold Card, you automatically get complimentary Baggage Insurance‡, which provides reimbursement for or replacement of lost, damaged, stolen baggage while travelling on business on a Common Carrier.
Travel Inconvenience Insurance‡ provides reimbursement, at no fee, of refreshments, accommodation and essential clothing due to a delayed or cancelled flight, missed connections, luggage delay or lost luggage when the travel ticket has been charged to the Corporate Gold Card‡.
Card Members are covered for personal trips charged to the Corporate Gold Card while boarding, travelling on and exiting these same carriers‡.
Membership Rewards Spirit Program for Employees:
a. Membership Rewards enrolment required. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards program available at membershiprewards.com.au/termsandconditions. Your Company must allow participation in Membership Rewards to be eligible to enrol. You must enrol yourself and cannot delegate someone else in your Company to do so on your behalf.
b. Refer to americanexpress.com.au/corporatespiritmr for current earn rates.
c. There may be tax implications associated with your participation in the Membership Rewards program. You are advised to check with you accountant or tax adviser for further information.
d. Qantas Frequent Flyer members: You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem Qantas Points. The redemption of Qantas Points is subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions available at qantas.com/terms. A joining fee may apply. We recommend you consult your accountant or tax adviser to ensure you understand possible tax implications, for example fringe benefits tax (if applicable).
Double Qantas Points:
a. Your business must be an Qantas Business Rewards Member to earn Qantas Points. Fees may apply. Qantas Business Rewards membership and Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Business Rewards Terms and Conditions. The Double Qantas Points offer is to match the number of Qantas Points otherwise earned for Eligible Flights with Qantas under the Qantas Business Rewards Airline Reward Scheme Terms and Conditions. Minimum points for redemption and maximum earning cap applies. These additional points will accrue to the business's Qantas Business Reward account once the Qantas Member has advised American Express of the registered ABN, American Express has validated the Qantas Business Reward Membership and the Eligible Flight has been flown. Initial Double Qantas Points will be allocated to the Qantas Business Reward Member's activity statement within six months and monthly thereafter. Businesses that choose to keep an existing rebate, corporate fares agreement or other discount arrangement with Qantas and travel agents are not eligible for this offer. a. The Qantas Rebate enables any eligible Company to receive a cash rebate of between 2% and 5% of its qualifying air spend, up to a maximum amount of AUD50,000 (exclusive of GST) per year. Companies that choose to keep an existing rebate, corporate fares agreement or other Qantas discount arrangement are not eligible for this offer. It is the Company's responsibility to account for the rebate in GST as an 'increased adjustment' in the tax period the Company receives the Rebate. To be eligible for the Qantas Rebate, Companies must spend at least AUD10,000 (inclusive of GST) per annum on eligible Qantas flights as defined in the Qantas Rebate terms and conditions available at americanexpress.com.au/mypa. All spend must be on Qantas (081) tickets charged by the Travel Manager to Qantas' merchant account, for Qantas marketed domestic and international fares (with a QF flight number) in Australian dollars, but excluding Jetstar Airways Pty Limited and packaged fares. Rebate amounts are calculated excluding GST paid by the customer and do not apply to the following: Red Deals (classes Q and O); fares on the same ticket as any sector that begins or ends at a port outside Australia, other than a port in New Zealand; Jetstar fares and packaged fares. Emergency Global Assist:
You must arrange all medical and visitor transportation. As the Global Assist Hotline is an assistance service, we cannot reimburse you for expenses you incur on your own. Qantas Club Membership:
As a member of the American Express Qantas Corporate Card program, your Company can access discounted membership rates when four or more employees join The Qantas Club. Qantas Meeting Rooms available at various airports throughout Australia. American Express Qantas Corporate Card Members can access discounted member rates for Qantas Meeting Rooms when paying with the American Express Qantas Corporate Card.
Corporate Cash Service:
After Company registers for this service, Card Members must then enrol individually with American Express. In addition, proof of identity to comply with government requirements may be required. Card Members will be informed via post when they have been enrolled and will be supplied with a PIN.
Commission Free Foreign Currency and Travellers Cheques:
A Disclosure Document will be provided where Travellers Cheques are sold and is available upon request. You should request an American Express Financial Services Guide and consider the appropriateness of Travellers Cheques in relation to your individual requirements. American Express Travellers Cheques are issued by American Express Travel Related Services Company Inc. Incorporated with limited liability in New York, USA. Hand delivered service fee applies in certain locations.
Membership Rewards Shop with Points:
a. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the American Express Membership Rewards program available at membershiprewards.com.au/termsandconditions and the David Jones Terms and Conditions available at davidjones.com.au. Only American Express Cards issued by American Express Australia Limited are eligible provided they are enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. Excludes Supplementary Card Members. A minimum of 3,000 points must be redeemed at any one time. If redeeming with Points + Pay, the 'pay' component of your purchase will be automatically billed to your American Express Card Account and will appear on the first billing statement following redemption. You’ll earn Membership Rewards points on the 'pay' component of your purchase only.
b. Photo identification is required for redemption. Points are calculated on AUD equivalent.
