When you use your Corporate Platinum Card to purchase travel tickets with certain carriers, you’ll receive unlimited coverage for repatriation/evacuation, cost of treatment and reasonable extra accommodation costs in the event of a medical emergency, at no additional cost‡.
When scheduled Common Carrier travel tickets are charged to the Corporate Platinum Card, you’ll receive complimentary Business Travel Accident Insurance‡ of up to $400,000, which protects for loss of life while travelling on business trips booked using the Platinum Card (including travel by taxi)‡.
When certain scheduled carrier travel tickets are charged to your Corporate Platinum Card, you automatically get complimentary Baggage Insurance‡, up to $30,000, which provides reimbursement for or replacement of lost, damaged, stolen baggage, money and documents while travelling on business on a Common Carrier.
Travel Inconvenience Insurance‡ provides reimbursement of refreshments, accommodation and essential clothing due to a delayed or cancelled flight, missed connections, luggage delay or lost luggage when the travel ticket has been charged to the Corporate Platinum Card.
Card Members are covered for personal trips charged to the Corporate Platinum Card while boarding, travelling on and exiting these same carriers. Terms and Conditions apply‡.
There is typically no cost for Platinum Concierge consultation, although you are responsible for any purchase and/or shipping charges you authorise. Fees may apply for meetings and event planning.

Corporate Cash Service:
After Company registers for this service, Card Members must then enrol individually with American Express. In addition, proof of identity to comply with government requirements may be required. You must arrange all medical and visitor transportation. As the Global Assist Hotline is an assistance service, we cannot reimburse you for expenses you incur on your own. b. Earn 1 point for every $1 spent except for purchases made at the industries where you will earn 0.5 points per dollar spent on eligible Card purchases. These Industries are Utilities which are gas, water and electricity providers, Insurance offered by companies other than American Express and Government bodies including the Australian Taxation Office, Australia Post, federal/state and local government bodies.
Membership Rewards Program for Employees:
a. Membership Rewards enrolment required (an annual fee applies, but is waived for American Express Corporate Platinum Card Members). Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards program available at membershiprewards.com.au/termsandconditions. Your Company must allow participation in Membership Rewards to be eligible to enrol. You must enrol yourself and cannot delegate someone else in your Company to do so on your behalf.
b. You will earn 1 Membership Rewards point for each dollar spent except for selected industries where you will earn 0.5 Membership Rewards point per $1 spent at participating merchants classified as; "utilities" including gas, water and electricity providers; "government" including the Australian Taxation Office, the Australian Postal Corporation (Australia Post), federal/state and local government bodies; and "insurance" excluding insurances offered by American Express.
c. There may be tax implications associated with your participation in the Membership Rewards program. You are advised to check with you accountant or tax adviser for further information.
d. Membership Rewards Ascent Only: To transfer Membership Rewards points into an airline rewards or frequent guest partner program you must be enrolled in Membership Rewards Ascent and be a member of the partner program. Membership of the partner program is the Card Members responsibility and is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the applicable program. A joining fee may apply.
Membership Rewards Shop With Points:
a. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the American Express Membership Rewards program available at membershiprewards.com.au/termsandconditions and the David Jones Terms and Conditions available at davidjones.com.au. Only American Express Cards issued by American Express Australia Limited are eligible provided they are enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. Excludes Supplementary Card Members. A minimum of 3,000 points must be redeemed at any one time. If redeeming with Points + Pay, the 'pay' component of your purchase will be automatically billed to your American Express Card Account and will appear on the first billing statement following redemption. You’ll earn Membership Rewards points on the ‘pay’ component of your purchase only.
b. A minimum of 2,000 points must be redeemed at any one time. You must qualify with the Terms and Conditions in order to redeem points. Tickets must be purchased using your eligible American Express Card and will be charged to that day’s purchase.
c. Photo identification is required for redemption. Points are calculated on AUD equivalent. Redemption of foreign currency only available in American Express Foreign Exchange branches.
