  • Lost or Stolen Baggage Insurance21

    When you fully charge your airline tickets to your Corporate Platinum Card, you are covered for loss or damage to your checked-in or carry-on baggage and personal effects while in transit, for up to a maximum of $1,000 per trip.

  • Flight and Baggage Delay Insurance22

    When you fully charge your airline tickets to your American Express Corporate Platinum Card, you can receive up to $1,000 coverage for all reasonable and necessary hotel, motel or restaurant expenses when you are delayed or denied boarding more than four hours. Or, when your baggage on your outbound trip is delayed more than six hours, you can receive up to $1,000 for all immediate daily necessary and reasonable emergency purchases made within four days for essential clothing and sundry items.

  • Hotel/Motel Burglary Insurance23

    If your hotel/motel room is burglarized, you are provided coverage up to $1,000 for the replacement of your personal items (excluding cash) as long as you use your Corporate Platinum Card to book and fully pay for your hotel/motel room accommodations your hotel/motel room accommodations.

  • Car Rental Theft and Damage Insurance24

    When you fully charge a car rental to your American Express Corporate Platinum Card, you will be automatically covered by Car Rental Theft and Damage Insurance for damage or theft on many rental cars with a maximum value of up to $85,000 (CDN).

    Every time you travel for business on a common carrier (plane, train, bus or ship) and charge your tickets to the Corporate Platinum Card, you’re automatically insured with up to $500,000 in accidental death and dismemberment insurance through your Business Travel Accident Insurance coverage. If your company policy allows, use the card to book tickets for your spouse or dependent children (under age 23) and they will also be automatically covered when accompanying you on your business trip.

2. The Centurion® Lounge: Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have unlimited complimentary access to all locations of The Centurion Lounge. Corporate Gold and Corporate Green Cards are not eligible for complimentary access. Cardmembers may bring up to two (2) companions into The Centurion Lounge. To access The Centurion Lounge, the Corporate Platinum Cardmember must present The Centurion Lounge agent with the following upon each visit: his or her valid Corporate Platinum Card, a boarding pass showing a confirmed reservation for same-day travel on any carrier and a government-issued I.D. Failure to present this documentation may result in access being denied. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers will not be compensated for changes in locations, rates or policies. The Corporate Platinum Cardmember must be at least 18 years of age to enter without a parent or legal guardian. For locations with a self-service bar, the Corporate Platinum Cardmember must be of legal drinking age in the location’s jurisdiction to enter without a parent or legal guardian. Must be of legal drinking age to consume alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly. American Express reserves the right to remove any person from the Lounge for inappropriate behavior or failure to adhere to rules, including, but not limited to, conduct that is disruptive, abusive or violent. Access is subject to space availability. Hours may vary by location and are subject to change. Amenities vary among The Centurion Lounge locations and are subject to change. 3. International American Express Lounges: Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have complimentary access to American Express Lounge locations. Guest access policies vary by location and are subject to change. Fees may apply for additional guests. To access American Express Lounges, the Corporate Platinum Cardmember and eligible guest(s) must show a valid, unexpired eligible Corporate Platinum Card, confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel and government-issued photo identification in the name of the Corporate Platinum Cardmember/guest(s). Failure to present this documentation may result in access being denied. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers will not be compensated for changes in locations, rates or policies. American Express reserves the right to remove any person from a lounge for inappropriate behavior or failure to adhere to lounge rules, including, but not limited to, conduct that is disruptive, abusive or violent. Access is subject to space availability. Amenities, services and hours of operation may vary among locations and are subject to change. 4. Plaza Premium Lounges: Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have complimentary access to Plaza Premium Lounges. Corporate Platinum Cardmember’s spouse and 2 children under the age of 21, or one travel companion, may enter as complimentary guests. Fees apply for additional guests. Guest must accompany the Corporate Platinum Cardmember. To access a lounge, Corporate Platinum Cardmember and eligible guest(s) must show a valid, unexpired eligible Corporate Platinum Card, confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel and government-issued photo identification in the name of the Corporate Platinum Cardmember/guest(s). International Plaza Premium Lounges, maximum of 2-hour stay. House rules, terms and conditions apply. Lounge access is subject to availability. Unless otherwise stated, lounge access cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or benefit and is subject to change or cancellation at any time. 5. Delta Sky Club®: The Corporate Platinum Cardmember must present his or her valid Corporate Platinum Card, government-issued I.D., and same-day corresponding Delta airline ticket to the club ambassador. Access to Delta Sky Club partner lounges is not permitted. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to access Delta Sky Club, and 21 years of age to access locations with a self-service bar, unless accompanied by a responsible, supervising adult who has access to the lounge. Cardmembers must adhere to all House Rules of participating clubs. Participating airport clubs and locations subject to change without notice. Additional guest access and fees subject to terms and conditions of participating airport clubs. Guests must also provide the club ambassador with a same-day corresponding Delta airline ticket before entering the lounge. 6. Airspace Lounges: This benefit is available to Corporate Platinum Cardmembers. Cardmember must present his or her valid Corporate PlatinumCard, government-issued I.D. and confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel. In some cases, Cardmember must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. The Cardmember's spouse and children under the age of 21 or up to two companions may enter the club as complimentary guests. Cardmember must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Cardmembers and his or her guests will receive all of the complimentary benefits and amenities afforded to the Airspace Lounge customers, as well as access to purchase non-complimentary items. Some product features may be subject to additional charges. Airspace Lounge locations are subject to change.

7. Escape Lounges: This benefit is available to Corporate Platinum Cardmembers. Cardmembers receive complimentary access to any US location of the Escape Lounges. Cardmember must present his or her valid Corporate Platinum Card, a boarding pass showing a confirmed reservation for same-day travel on any carrier and government-issued I.D. In some cases, Cardmember must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. Cardmembers may bring up to two companions as complimentary guests. Cardmember must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Cardmembers and his or her guests will receive all of the complimentary benefits and amenities afforded to the Escape Lounge customers, as well as access to purchase non-complimentary items. Some product features may be subject to additional charges. Escape Lounge locations are subject to change.

8. Priority Pass: These Terms and Conditions govern Corporate Platinum Card participation in and use of the Priority Pass program. Priority Pass is an independent airport lounge access program. At any visit to a Priority Pass lounge that admits guests, you may bring in one (1) guest for no charge. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers will be charged for any additional guests. Additional accompanying guests are subject to a usage fee at the prevailing rate, which is subject to change without prior notice. Some lounges do not admit guests. To enrol, Corporate Platinum Cardmembers must complete the Priority Pass application form provided in their Corporate Platinum Card welcome package or mailed separately to them upon request. By enroling in Priority Pass, you agree that you will be responsible for any additional accompanying guest visits and that your Corporate Platinum Card will be automatically charged after you have signed for the additional guest visit and it has been reported to Priority Pass by the participating lounge. Additionally, you acknowledge and agree that American Express will verify your Card account number and provide updated Card account information to Priority Pass. Priority Pass will use this information to fulfill on the Priority Pass program. Once enroled, Corporate Platinum Cardmembers whose Card account is not cancelled may access participating Priority Pass lounges by presenting their Priority Pass card and airline boarding pass. In some lounges, Priority Pass member must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. Priority Pass members must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Amenities may vary among airport lounge locations. Conference rooms, where available, may be reserved for a nominal fee. Priority Pass lounge partners and locations are subject to change. All Priority Pass members must adhere to the Priority Pass Conditions of Use, which will be sent to you with your membership package, and can be viewed at www.prioritypass.com. Upon receipt of your enrolment information, Priority Pass will send your Priority Pass card and membership package which you should receive within10-14 business days. If you have not received the Priority Pass card after 14 business days, please contact Corporate Cardmember Services using the number on the back of your Corporate Platinum Card. Please note, Corporate Gold and Corporate Green Cards are not eligible for membership.

9. Executive Lounges by Swissport: Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have complimentary access to Executive Lounges by Swissport in Canada. Corporate Platinum Cardmember’s spouse and 2 children under the age of 21, or one travel companion, may enter as complimentary guests. Fees apply for additional guests. Guest must accompany the Corporate Platinum Cardmember. To access a lounge, Corporate Platinum Cardmember and eligible guest(s) must show a valid, unexpired eligible Corporate Platinum Card, confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel and government-issued photo identification in the name of the Corporate Platinum Cardmember/guest(s). House rules, terms and conditions apply. Lounge access is subject to availability. Unless otherwise stated, lounge access cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or benefit and is subject to change or cancellation at any time. 10. Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport VIP Lounge: Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have complimentary access to the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport VIP Lounge. Corporate Platinum Cardmember’s spouse and 2 children under the age of 18, or one travel companion, may enter as complimentary guests. Fees apply for additional guests. Guest must accompany the Corporate Platinum Cardmember. To access the lounge, Corporate Platinum Cardmember and eligible guest(s) must show a valid, unexpired eligible Corporate Platinum Card, confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel and government-issued photo identification in the name of the Corporate Platinum Cardmember/guest(s). House rules, terms and conditions apply. Lounge access is subject to availability. Unless otherwise stated, lounge access cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or benefit and is subject to change or cancellation at any time.

12. Travel Emergency Assistance: All Services associated with Travel Emergency Assistance are provided worldwide with the exception of some countries (it is best to check with Customer Service). In addition, services may be limited or prevented by acts of God, war, civil commotion, labour disputes, unavailability of goods and services or refusal of permissions by local authorities.

13. Membership Rewards: Earn 1.25 points for virtually every dollar charged on eligible, enrolled American Express® Corporate Cards. In the case of a Corporate Card, participation in the Membership Rewards program is subject to the approval of the Company or other entity in whose name the Corporate Card account is opened. If Company approval is given, Cardmember is automatically enrolled in the Program. The Company or other entity may also cancel participation in the Program at any time. Rewards are subject to availability and restrictions may apply as to when the reward can be redeemed. Amex Bank of Canada reserves the right to terminate the program with three (3) months prior notice. Items submitted to us or recognized by our systems as being purchases or charges for travellers cheques or foreign currencies, cash advances, balance transfers, Amex Cheques, Express Cash transactions, annual fees, finance charges and/or other fees or charges are not eligible to earn points. Redeemed rewards are not refundable, exchangeable, replaceable or transferable for cash or credit. Amex Bank of Canada reserves the right to change the Program Terms and Conditions, including without limitation assignment and reassignment of tiers and associated rights, at any time without notice. 16. Front Of The Line: Purchase must be charged in full to an American Express Card issued by Amex Bank of Canada. Subject to availability and to event and ticketing agent terms, conditions and fees. Not all seats are available. All sales are final. No refunds. No exchanges.

17. Concierge Service: There is no cost for Platinum Concierge consultation, although you are responsible for any purchase and/or shipping charges you authorize. Fees may apply for meetings and event planning. Upon authorization by the Cardmember, Corporate Platinum Card Concierge uses its best efforts to source or arrange the purchase of requested goods and services from a supplier. Amex Bank of Canada cannot be responsible for the acts or omissions of suppliers, and cannot guarantee successful fulfillment of Cardmember requests in all instances.

19. Express Cash Service: After Company registers for this service, Cardmembers must then enroll individually with American Express. In addition, proof of identity to comply with government requirements may be required. Cardmembers will be informed via post when they have been enrolled and will be supplied with a PIN.

20. Spending Limits: American Express reserves the right to refuse to authorize any charge. Some Corporate Cards may carry specific usage guidelines and limits at the request of your company or at the discretion of American Express.

24. Car Rental Theft and Damage Insurance: Underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada. Coverage is in effect as long as you have fully charged your rental to your American Express Corporate Card. There are specific conditions that apply to who may rent and drive the rental vehicle, the length of the rental(s) and the type of vehicle covered.

25. Business Travel Accident Insurance: Underwritten by Chubb Insurance Group of Canada (a member company of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies). Under Master policy #6477-4608. If your company policy allows, use the card to book tickets for your spouse or dependent children (under age 23) and they will also be automatically covered when accompanying you on your business trip.

26. AMEX Travel Insurance: AMEX Travel Insurance™ is optional group travel insurance underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Company of Canada. All insurance coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of the Group Policy issued to Amex Bank of Canada and the applicable limitations and exclusions described in the Certificate of Insurance issued upon enrollment.
