Manage How, When and Where Employees Spend

With the American Express Purchasing Card, also known as a pCard, you can protect against out-of-policy spend and fraud. You can set spending limits at the level that works for your business including supplier, industry, commodity, transaction and employee level. Cards also can be provided to match how you prefer to work – for individuals, suppliers, departments or Accounts Payable.

Improve Accounts Payable

The Purchasing Card solution can be implemented throughout your Accounts Payable process, helping you to control spend, reduce costs and increase efficiency. There are several program configurations:

  • Accounts Payable solution: Use the Card or virtual payment to maintain your existing payment process and replace writing cheques.

  • Online Payments: Through Corporate Online Payments, your company has the ability to pay company Card accounts online. You can search for specific accounts and view payment status and history. You also can make immediate payments or schedule future ones.
