Manage Your Card Account

From checking accounts and settling balances to tracking new charges and more, you'll find all the information and links you need to help you manage your American Express Corporate Card efficiently, effectively and securely with Manage Your Card Account. Manage Your Card Account provides a fully flexible, secure and convenient management of your Corporate Card Account, 24/7, allowing you to:

  • View billed and unbilled statements, recent payments and view statements for the past six months
  • Pay your bills and update your details
  • Keep an eye on your Membership Reward points1 (for eligible Corporate Card Members)
  • Opt in or out of promotional mailings (You can also opt out by calling (+852) 2277 1088)

Online-Only Statements

If you’re like many Corporate Card Members, you’re always on the go and need tools that help make business management more efficient.
That’s why American Express introduced Online-Only Statements. With this service you can:

  • Receive your statement faster and more securely than through paper statements
  • Download your monthly expense data into many accounting programmes for easier expense tracking

You must register for Online-Only Statements to access your monthly billing statement online and receive a monthly email to remind you that your statement is ready to view.

Stay Up to Date With Account Alerts*

Account Alerts is a free service that helps you keep track of key Account information while on the go. You can enrol in e-mail and/or text message Account Alerts or customize or change your preferences for any Alerts you may already be receiving*. Here are our applicable account alerts:

  • Payment Due Reminder can help you to avoid missing a payment
  • Payment Received can help you feel at ease as it notifies you that we have received your latest payment
  • Balance Update can help you feel in control by providing weekly reminders of your balance at your preferred date and time

To create or update your Account Alert preferences, log into Manage Your Card Account.

*This service is only available with select cell phone providers. Details are available within Online Services on the Account Alert Preferences page. Your mobile phone service provider may apply fees to incoming text messages. Please contact your provider for further details.

Take Advantage of Rewards and Savings Programmes

As a Card Member you have access to programme-specific rewards programmes and an exclusive savings programmes:

  • Corporate Card Members are eligible to enrol in the Membership Rewards® programme
  • Cathay Pacific® Corporate Card Members are eligible to enrol in the Card Members rewards programme to earn Asia Miles
  • All Card Members can take advantage of the American Express SelectsTM programme to save on business expenses

Spending & Payments

No Pre-Set Spending Limit

As the Corporate Card is a charge Card requiring payment in full each month, you are generally not restricted or inconvenienced with a fixed spending limit. Instead, charges are approved on an ongoing basis, based on your ability to pay as shown by your past spending, payment patterns and financial resources. In some circumstances, proof of resources and security may be required.

Note, as many companies have their own internal spending policies, a spending limit may be applied to your Corporate Card at your Company's request.

Paying your Corporate Card Account

Each month you need to pay in full the 'Amount Due' that is indicated on your Statement of Account. You can pay in a variety of ways, including:

  • Autopay
  • CardDirect (Pay by Phone)
  • Pay-By-Mail
  • Payment Collection box
  • Payment by Phone Service (PPS)

As the Corporate Card is a charge Card, your Account needs to be settled in full each month or late payment charges will apply. Please refer to the Card Members Terms and Conditions for further information.

Payment When Away for an Extended Period

If you are away for an extended period of time, please ensure your payments are up–to–date and your account remains in good standing by either:

  • Arranging for your Statement of Account to be forwarded to where you are staying.
  • Authorising your bank, professional colleague or a family member to pay your bills for you.
  • Estimating what you reasonably expect to spend whilst you are away and pre-paying that amount.

Corporate Card Renewal

Your Corporate Card is valid for the period indicated on the face of your Card. Shortly before the Card is due to expire, a replacement Corporate Card will be issued provided your Account is in good standing.

Membership Reward: Before using your Card or enrolling in Membership Rewards, please make contact with your Company’s Corporate Card Programme Administrator to find out about your Company’s Corporate Card programme policies and procedures.
