How do I apply for the American Express Corporate Payment solution online?
You can fill in your details in the ‘Request More Information’ form on the
home page and we will reach out to you at the earliest.
In case your company is already a member of the American Express Corporate Card
Programme, please reach out to your Program Administrator to apply for a new Card.
What payment solutions do you currently offer in India that can help corporate manage
business & travel expenses?
We have American Express® Corporate Card program and Business Travel Account
(BTA) that can help you manage the corporate T&E expenses for your organization.

Express representative will discuss your specific business needs and help determine the

How long does it take to obtain an American Express Corporate Card?
It may take up to15 working days to process your application, subject to the receipt of
the duly signed application form and complete supporting documentation
Do I need to submit two separate documents for proof of identity and proof of
address?
NO. There is now no requirement of submitting two separate documents for proof of
identity and proof of address. If any one of the officially valid documents (as listed below)
submitted at the time of applying for a Corporate Card has both, identity and address of the
person, there is no need for submitting any other documentary proof. For a list of valid and

Is there any relaxation to apply for a Corporate Card without officially valid
documents?
In certain cases, the Bank may accept a copy of alternate documents as a KYC
document. Click here to get the list of the
acceptable documents.
The document should be valid at the time of applying a Corporate Card. Please contact
your Program Administrator or the helpline to know more.
What is the time interval for periodic updation of KYC?
Time intervals for periodic updation of KYC for existing low/medium and high risk
customers have been increased from 5/2 years to 10/8/2 years, respectively.
Report Lost, Stolen or Damaged Card
How do I report a lost, stolen or damage Card?
If you need to report your lost or stolen Card, call our 24 hour Card Member Help Line.
In case your card is damaged you may opt for Card replacement by using our online services. Simply log into your American Express Account Online and select the "Request Card replacement" option in the "Manage your account" section.

How do I register for an online services account?
You can easily register for your Account anytime of the day or night, anywhere in the world. Registering for Online Services is free and fast - it only takes 3 simple steps. Please have your Card at hand when you register.

Payment Methods
What are the modes available to pay my bill?
You can pay by any of these convenient methods:

National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) – Settle your American Express Card bill payments online the very next day from any bank through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). Make sure to fill in the following details while registering your Card as a Payee

In case you are making a payment via Standard Chartered Online Banking, the IFSC code is not required. You may simply select the option 'Transfer to another SCB bank account' to process the payment.
Simply initiate your funds transfer before 3 p.m. on weekdays* and by 10 a.m. on weekends** for next day credit to your American Express Card excluding Sunday and public holidays. Also make sure to put in the correct Card number to avoid a transaction failure
*Subject to timely processing by your bank.
**A reference to weekends includes working days falling on either a Saturday or a Sunday of any given week as notified by the Reserve Bank of India or by any other relevant authority. A weekend however does not include any holiday as notified by the Bank or by any relevant authority.

Online – Pay your Card bill, online anywhere anytime in three simple steps. Just log on to www.americanexpress.co.in. Click on ‘Pay your bill now’. Fill in your Card details and the bank account from which you would like to make the payment.

RUPAY/UPI/UPI QR Code - We also accept payments through following electronic modes:
- Debit Card powered by RuPay;
- Unified Payments Interface (UPI) (BHIM -UPI); and
- Unified Payments Interface Quick Response Code (UPI QR Code) (BHIM-UPI QR Code).

Crossed Cheque / Draft – Please make your crossed cheque/draft payable to AEBC Card No. 37** ****** *****. Please mention your name and contact number on the reverse of the cheque.
The cheque/draft should preferably be dropped in an American Express drop box at least 4 working days prior to the payment due date to ensure timely credit to your card account and avoid levy of penal charges.

Direct Debit – You may also enroll for direct debit each month from your Bank account and credit the Card Account with the total amount due in the monthly statement through the National Automated Clearing House (NACH) Debit option introduced by the National Payments Corporation of India(NPCI)
Mobile App
Is there any mobile app available through which I can see my balance, transactions, etc.?
Yes, American Express® Mobile App is available for iPhone® and Android™ devices. You can make a payment, view recent transactions and more on move. There is no new registration needed - you simply log-in with your current username and password for your American Express Online Card Account.

Can I request for a reprint of previous Card statements?
Yes, you can request for a reprint of your previous Card statements, however a charge of Rs.100 plus applicable taxes per copy will be charged for paper statements older than 3 months. You can also view your duplicate statements by accessing your American Express account online. This is a free service which gives you access to official copies of your Statements. Simply log in to your American Express Account Online and click on Download PDF statements.
How is interest charge calculated on my statement?

Where can I see my recent unbilled charges Online?
To view your unbilled charges online you can click on "View Latest Transactions" from the "My Account Summary" page. Click here to log in to your American Express Account online.
How do I switch off paper statements?
Will I be able to view Online Statements if my account is cancelled?
The online enrolment facility is available only for active Card members. In case of any assistance give us a call at any time on our 24 Hour Cardmember Helpline.

How does Membership Rewards (MR) program work?

How do I check my Membership RewardsTM point balance online?
You can check your Membership Rewards points online by Registering for Online Services or logging in if you have already registered.
Is there any rewards program available at Corporate level?
Yes, your company has an option to enrol into Corporate Membership Rewards (CMR) Program. In a CMR, company earns and owns points linked to multiple corporate cards. Company earns 1 Membership Reward Point for every Rs 50 spent on all spends and 1 Membership Reward Point of every Rs 100 on fuel and utility* spending.
Company can avail the benefit by either redeeming cash back on travel & non travel related charges or purchasing business products & services from accrued MR points.
* Telecommunications includes providers of land line phones, mobile phones, cable and other pay TV services, and calling cards. Fuel includes petrol, diesel, CNG from Oil Marketing Companies (OMC’s). Other utility services includes providers of household/domestic electricity, gas and water. These providers can be government departments and agencies including local/provincial/state/territory/municipal organizations], public housing societies and apartment associations.
Cash Withdrawal
Can I obtain cash using the Card?
Yes, American Express Cards enable you to obtain cash billed to your Card account by enrolling in the Corporate Cash™ facility.
How do I enrol for Corporate Cash™ facility?
Corporate Cardmembers may use their Corporate Card to access cash advances and withdrawals from ATMs in India or overseas and from other locations as offered by us from time to time, subject to written authorization from your company. To download the form please click here
Once enrolled for the Express Cash facility, you can withdraw cash from the ATMs using the PIN provided by us. To change your PIN number, please contact us at the American Express Corporate Services Helpline phone numbers.
How do I locate the nearest ATM to withdraw Cash?

Disputes Related
Will I be required to pay for the disputed charge?
We will remove the amount under review from your required payment due so that you do not have to pay the disputed amount while under investigation.
What is the timeframe within which a charge can be disputed?
Client can call the 24 hours Corporate Services Helpline numbers or submit to American Express in writing within 60 days of the date of statement. American Express would take reasonable steps to assist the Cardmember by providing information in relation to charges to the Card Account. If the Cardmember does not notify American Express of an error or omission in the statement within 60 days of the date of statement, the statement will be conclusively settled to be complete and correct except for any amount, which has been improperly credited to the account.
Will I get an acknowledgement that my dispute/claim is taken?
A written acknowledgement will be sent confirming the dispute is taken up with the merchant/ will advice any further documentation which is required from your end to address the claim.
How I will come to know that the dispute is resolved?
We will send a written communication advising about the outcome of your dispute.
Should I pursue with the merchant as well after raising a dispute with you?
We will ensure an end-to-end resolution is given once we have taken up the dispute. Still, if you desire, you may contact the merchant.
Do I require documentation to set up a dispute?
Yes. Certain disputes like-cancellation, paid by other means, refund promised by the merchant, merchandise returned, etc, require documented proof and therefore, kindly retain documented proof validating the same.

Can I link my personal American Express card with Corporate card account?
You cannot link your Personal American Express Card to your Corporate Card Account
Is there any mark-up fee for foreign currency transactions?
You will be charged 3.5% of the transaction amount as a mark-up fee for foreign currency transactions.
