Singaporeans are voting with their wallets to show displeasure with poor customer service, placing the country among the most demanding in the world when it comes to customer service. This is according to the American Express 2017 Global Customer Service Barometer. Two out of three Singaporeans have not completed a purchase because of poor customer service in the past year. Yet, they are also prepared to reward companies that do provide excellent service – 16% more on average.
